computing at Thirunelveli in Jaffna for the last three
years. He was boarding at a friend’s house in
Thirunelveli to attend the course. He would visit the
home of his parents about once a month. His parent’s
home is in Vadamaradchi (address above) which is in the
Jaffna peninsula that is under LTTE administration. To
travel from his parent’s home in Vadamardchi to his
friend’s home near Jaffna town he must travel through
the SLA check point in Muhamalai.
Robinson visited his parent’s
home of the 31st of December 2005 and returned to Jaffna
to his friend’s house on 6th of January. He rang his
parents after reaching Jaffna on the 6th January. His
father rang Robinson’s friend on the 19th of January
inquiring after Robinson. Robinson’s friend told the
father that Robinson arrived on 6th January and had left
on the 7th January saying he was going to his class and
he did not return after that. Robinson’s friend
explained that he had assumed that Robinson was back at
his parent’s home when he did not turn up after the
class. Presently this friend has also displaced from
