Tamils - a Trans State Nation..

"To us all towns are one, all men our kin.
Life's good comes not from others' gift, nor ill
Man's pains and pains' relief are from within.
Thus have we seen in visions of the wise !."
-
Tamil Poem in Purananuru, circa 500 B.C

INDICTMENT AGAINST SRI LANKA

Sri Lanka's Genocidal War - '95 to '01

Sri Lanka security forces unleash reign of terror in the East

The Sri Lanka security forces also unleashed a reign of terror in the Tamil homeland in the East. Tamils were arrested arbitrarily and later the dead bodies of those arrested were discarded on the streets. Again, when the LTTE attacked Sri Lanka army camps, the Army launched genocidal attacks on Tamil villages and indiscriminately murdered Tamil civilians.

"The Sri Lanka Army has also unleashed a reign of terror in the East. Arbitrary arrests and reprisal attacks on Tamil villages in the Batticaloa area have become commonplace. Tamil civilians have been compelled by the Sri Lanka army to act as human shields to detect land mines in the East."
