Lion of a man...
You spoke against the
horrors perpetrated by the Sinhala Regimes
Against the Tamils...

That was not an easy task
Yet,
You stood. You spoke
Lion of a man...

Many of your own
Thought of you as traitor
A public enemy
Yet,
Within their conscience
They shrivelled
Dead wood.

You stood. You spoke
Many misunderstood
You spoke...
Dead, yet you will speak!
