Tamils - a Trans State Nation..

"To us all towns are one, all men our kin.
Life's good comes not from others' gift, nor ill
Man's pains and pains' relief are from within.
Thus have we seen in visions of the wise !."
-
Tamil Poem in Purananuru, circa 500 B.C

The 2nd Mediterranean Conference of Stateless Nations will be held in Barcelona on the 5th, 6th and 7th of November. The Conference of Stateless Nations is conceived as a space of debate and reflexion about the possibilities of emancipation for the Mediterranean nations that are subjugated and unable to make their own decisions in this globalized world.

We want to insist on:

Retrieval:

Retrieval of the heritage, the enviromental heritage, the cultural property and the memory and identity as a nation.

Interrelation:

Interrelation between the Mediterranean nations from both sides to be able to acquire better self knowledge and improve connections (transportation, communication, culture) between nations.

Internationalization:

Internacionalization of the identities as a differentiating common fact of Mediterranean nations, specially the ones that are immersed in unified and centralized states with dominant state cultures.

Construction:

Construction of connection links between our nations through culture, language, political relations and common issues that we should improve in order to live in better conditions and better life quality guaranteeing our future as Mediterranean nations.
